World Earth Day is an annual event to demonstrate support for environmental protection. SOFER Initiative has been at the forefront of creating awareness and also implementing several projects to reduce, reuse and recycle waste while improving biodiversity and promoting a positive attitude towards the environment.
International Women's day is a day set aside to celebrate the social, economic and cultural achievements of women. It is also a day to acknowledge the numerous contribution women make to the progress of the human race and to raise awareness on any bias against them.
My story goes this way: two years before I directly got involved with SOFER Initiative, I had heard about the organization and the amazing work they were doing in some of the states in the Southern region of Nigeria.
